Bad Lemon Productions is an independent movie production company in the Baltimore, MD area. Our goal is to create character-driven stories that engage and challenge the viewer without the restrictions or limited imaginations of Hollywood.

Although Bad Lemon is currently developing many projects across several genres, our first love will always be horror, which comes as no surprise to those who know Bad Lemon founder, John Shade. When he was just 7 years old the movie Trilogy of Terror and its African Zuni fetish doll left an indelible imprint on John's brain and the seed to become a filmmaker was planted.

The Bad Lemon family now includes award winning writers, actors, composers, photographers, and filmmakers. We are working together to provide original cinematic experiences built on creativity and love of the art which are based on a foundation of the highest production values in the indie film industry.
